- Photon Edge: Ultraman Gaia can charge a powerful beam of energy in his head and fire it out. This beam is capable of destroying just about any opponent in a single hit.
- Quantum Stream: Ultraman Gaia's second main attack, the Quantum Stream is charged in the arms and fired from the forearm. When it hits the target, the enemy will either be totally destroyed or severely injured. This beam can be increased in size by lowering and rising each arm.
- Energy Blasts: Ultraman Gaia can fire-missile strength blasts of energy from his hands.
- Door Beam: When needed, Ultraman Gaia can fire a ball of energy from his hands. When this ball comes in contact with a solid wall, it will form a door he can go through to reach the outside. It will remain open until he passes through.
- Calming Beam: Ultraman Gaia can charge a beam of energy and fire it from his hands, when this beam strikes a rampaging monster, it will calm them down and make them less violent.
- Size Change: Ultraman Gaia can change his size from that of a man to that of a giant monster at will.
- Human Merging: Ultraman Gaia can combine his own life force with that of a human’s. This will allow him to save a human’s life who is about to die and also gift them with their own powers. Once merged, the human can then call on Ultraman Gaia with the Esplender.
Weaknesses: Can only fight for a few minutes before power runs out.
